Minc Design Accessories
Minc Design Accessories creates vintage/retro inspired bags and accessories.
Handmade & designed in Melbourne (Australia) by Miyuki Mardon, a trained Photographer & Graphic Designer (and self taught in everything else). However, as someone who is very much into working with her hands she started making bags to give as gifts, as what girl doesn’t like a new bag?!. Whether its for a special occasion, or everyday, a gift for a girlfriend or a treat for yourself.
Part of the process is the ‘hunt’ for fabric and findings, to make the pieces extra special. Minc Design Accessories is about colour, pattern and texture – being a visual and tactile experience that evoke fondness of memories. Everything is limited edition or one of a kind, as the fabrics are often sourced at op-shops or markets and remnant bins, or crafting fabrics bought in small quantities. The range includes clutch purses, tote bags, sunglass cases, Ipad cases, purses, shoulder bags, and knitted necklaces made from cotton or satin cord.
Custom orders are also welcome.
