Illustrator Colleen Johnson lives in beautiful Huntsville, AL with her wonderful husband Chris and their dog Emmy. She was born in Illinois and lived in many states during her childhood. She graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle) with a BFA in graphic design and with the hopes of one day starting her own illustration business. In early 2008 a friend introduced her to Etsy and now she illustrates full-time. She creates illustrations for magazines, greeting card companies, various clients and also does graphic design work (logos, marketing materials).
Colleen’s cheery and whimsical hand drawn illustrations are featured on her greeting cards, art prints, wedding ring pillows and more! Her art has been featured on NBC’s “Save Me” set 2013, CBS News Feature 2013, TLC’s Four Weddings, Mollie’s Makes “Sweets” Magazine September 2013 Issue, The Daily Meal website, in Cosmo Bride Australia 2012 Magazine, Weddings Unveiled Spring 2011 Magazine, NJ Family Magazine, Valley and Co magazine, People Magazine’s People’s Pets, Bridal Guide Magazine and many more.
Colleen is thrilled to be able to be creative every day. In her spare time she loves to see her family and friends, spend time with her hubby and schnoodle Emmy, ride horses, read and travel.
